Italian Sausage and
Peppers

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. &#8211; This recipe comes courtesy of Janet Sossi Belcoure, chef at Roma Cafe in Detroit.
Serves 4
Ingredients:
2 Tablespoons olive oil
1/2 Sliced green pepper
1/2 Sliced red pepper
1 Quart of tomato sauce
2 Grilled or baked Italian sausage
1 Ib. of penne pasta
Salt
Pepper
Grated parmagiana cheese

<p>Serves 4</p>
<p>Ingredients:<br />
2 Tablespoons olive oil<br />
1/2 Sliced green pepper<br />
1/2 Sliced red pepper<br />
1 Quart of tomato sauce<br />
2 Grilled or baked Italian sausage<br />
1 Ib. of penne pasta<br />
Salt<br />
Pepper<br />
Grated parmagiana cheese</p>
<p>Start pasta in boiling salted water. Cook al&#8217;dente about 7 minuted. Drain and set aside.</p>
<p>In a skillet, heat olive oil and add the red and green peppers. Sautee for about 3 minutes. Then add sliced cooked sausage and sautee another 3 minutes. Add the drained pasta, salt and pepper to taste to the pan of sausage and peppers. Combine the tomato sauce and sautee the dish for another minute. Plate and add grated parmagiana.</p>
